Type a note instead.
When you cannot record, type the session the way you would say it. OS organises it into the same note a recording makes, so the plan follows in the same way.
Steps
- Open Pulse, press Start a session, then Type the note instead.
- If nobody is chosen yet, type the client's name in Who is it for and pick them, so the note lands on the right record.
- Write what they told you, what you found, what you did and what comes next, at least 10 words.
- Press Write up the note, and OS writes it into the note, ready for you to read.
- Changed your mind? Press Record instead.
Questions
Is a typed note any different from a recorded one?No. It goes through the same writing and lands on the same note screen, so you check it and build the plan exactly as you would after a recording.
Why will the button not work yet?It needs at least 10 words, so a note is never written from a fragment. OS tells you when you need a few more.
What if my recording came through too thin?Pulse says the session is safe and offers typing straight away, while it is fresh. Show what came through lets you read what was caught, and Save the recording and carry on leaves it for OS to organise.
