The Guide

Try Pulse with a practice run.

Pulse, Practice runEveryone

A practice run lets you try Pulse on a made-up client. You talk for a minute, Pulse writes a real note and plan from it, and nothing is saved or sent.

Steps

  1. Open Get set up and press Try Pulse beside A practice run, or in Pulse press Start a session, then Practice run.
  2. Press Start the practice run, do the voice check, and talk for a minute as if you were writing up a session: what they came in with, what you found, what you did.
  3. Press Finish and write it up, and read the note Pulse writes.
  4. Press Build the practice plan to see the plan, or Finish the practice run to stop at the note.
  5. On the last screen, press Start for real, or Run it again.

Questions

Is anything kept? No. Every screen says Practice run, nothing is saved or sent, and no client is made. The note is written and not saved, and the plan is built and not sent.
Can I use a real client? No, use a made-up client, never a real one. The example on screen shows the kind of thing to say.
Does it count towards Get set up?Yes. Once you reach the end, A practice run ticks and reads Done, nothing was kept.
