Get ready for a client.
Get ready gives you the ninety seconds before someone walks in: who they are, how long since you saw them, what you found last time, and anything to be careful of.
Steps
- On Today, press Get ready for and the client's first name in the band, or Get ready beside any booking further down.
- Read the brief: the session number and time, their name, how long since the last session, the main issue last time, and one sentence on what you found.
- Note anything marked Careful, and the things to Ask about, which come only from what the client said about themselves.
- Press Read the last session in full to open their record in a new tab, or Change client if the wrong person is showing.
- When they are in the room, press Start recording.
Questions
Where does the brief come from?Only from the client's own records. Any part with nothing behind it is left out rather than filled, so a first session simply says New, with nothing on record yet.
Does Start recording mark them as attended?Yes, for a booked client. Starting the session records that they came, because Pulse only runs on someone who is in the room.
Can I get ready for someone with no booking?Yes. Open Pulse, press Start a session, search for them under Who's in the room?, or press Someone new for a person who has never been in.
