Run a video appointment.
A video treatment gives every booking its own private call link, and Pulse can listen to the call so you finish with notes and a plan like any session in the room.
Steps
- Under Diary, open Treatments, choose the treatment and set How it happens to Video call.
- Each booking of it gets its own call link in the confirmation and reminders, and the client can join from 30 minutes before.
- At the time, open the appointment in the Diary and press Join the video call.
- Check the camera preview, turn the microphone or camera on or off, and press Join the call.
- Press Open Pulse: the call moves to a small window in the corner, and when you start recording Pulse hears both sides of the call.
- Press Leave when you are finished, then write up and send the plan as usual.
Questions
Does the client know Pulse is listening?Yes. While Pulse records, their screen says Pulse is taking notes for your clinician.
What happens if I move to another screen?The call carries on in a small window in the corner. Full screen brings it back, and only Leave ends it.
When does the link stop working?The call closes an hour after the appointment finishes. A cancelled appointment has no call to join.
