Consent, the treatment record and aftercare.
For aesthetics clinics: consent forms go out with bookings, Pulse fills the treatment record from what was said, and you sign it off and send the aftercare in one place.
Steps
- Under Diary, open Consent, read each form with Read and edit, and switch on the ones you use; each goes out by email with the bookings it matches.
- In Pulse, select the areas while recording, and before any photos press [name] consented or No photos, then Before photo and After photo.
- Press Finish and write it up, check the treatment record, then press Prepare [name]'s aftercare.
- Under Sign off the treatment, check the treatment, product, batch (Scan the box reads it), expiry and units for each area; each value says where it came from.
- Answer Did anything unexpected happen today? and tick that you have checked the batch and the units against the vial.
- Press Sign and send to [name]; the messages OS will also send, and when, are listed beside it.
Questions
Why will it not send?It waits for the treatment, the product, batch and units, an answer to the unexpected question and the tick, and pressing early says what is missing. The treatment also needs an aftercare guide.
What happens if I answer Yes?You write briefly what happened and what you did. It goes on the treatment record, and the client is not asked for a review.
Where do I see who has signed consent?Diary, Consent, then Sent and signed. Each form shows Sent, Opened or Signed.
