Get set up.
Get set up is the short list that makes OS yours: notifications, your hours, your calendar, two-step sign in and a practice run. Each row ticks only when it is really done, so the list tells you the truth about your setup.
Steps
- The first time you open Today, press Show me round for a short look at the rail, or Skip to go straight to the list.
- After the tour, Get set up opens over Today, and until it is finished a Get set up band sits at the top of Today with Carry on to open it again.
- Work down the rows, each with its own button, for example Turn on for Notifications, Set hours for Your hours, Connect for Your calendar and Turn it on for Two-step sign in.
- Choose your answers where the row asks, for example Never, When I choose or Yes for Offers, and I take deposits or I do not for Deposits, then Link your bank if you take them.
- Finish with A practice run and press Try Pulse to see a note and plan written from a made-up client.
- Press Start the day or Later to close the list, and Done once every row has ticked.
Questions
I did the thing. Why has the row not ticked?Rows tick from what OS can actually read, never from a click: a notification turned on for this device, a verified two-step code, a booking made on your page. If a row says Could not check, OS could not read it just then, and it does not count as done until it can.
Why do I see fewer rows than the clinic owner? If you work in someone else's clinic, your list is the three things that belong to you: Notifications, Two-step sign in and A practice run. The clinic's hours, deposits, booking link, Amy and connections sit with the owner.
Can I hide the band, or see the tour again? Not this week hides the band for seven days on that browser. Look round again at the top of the list replays the tour, and so does Take the tour again at the foot of your Account page.
