Bring your clients across when you join.
Your whole client list can come across from one file when your practice is built, so your book is full on day one. OS reads the columns itself and never adds the same person twice.
Steps
- Export your client list from your current system as a CSV or Excel file.
- Open the setup link you were emailed, go to Check it, and find Your clients.
- Press Upload my client list and choose the file; if you upload more than one, the last one is the one imported.
- Tick These clients have agreed to receive emails from my clinic only if that is true; without it, Seventy3 asks you before it emails any of them.
- Press Next, build, then Build it, and your clients come across with the rest of your practice.
- If you left the box unticked, your returning clients wait under Needs you on Today: tick to confirm they are your clients and press Confirm & start, or press Hold to keep them silent.
Questions
What does the file need to have in it?A name is the one thing it needs, as one column or first and last name. OS also picks up email, phone, last seen, status, date of birth and notes, and recognises the column names most booking systems use.
Will it make duplicates of people I already have? No. People who appear twice in the file are merged, and anyone already on your book, matched by email or phone, is updated rather than added again.
I only need to add one person. Is there a quicker way?Yes. On Clients, press Add someone, or type their name in Find a client and, when nobody matches, press the Add button that appears with their name on it.
