Book someone in.
Book a client into any day and any time from the Diary, with the week staying in view and the new appointment drawn on it as you go.
Steps
- In the Diary, press New booking, or click a free time on the week to start with that time already filled in.
- Under What, pick the treatment, then pick the place under Where (or the clinician and the place under With, and where).
- Under When, pick a day from the strip or press Pick a date; an open day offers its times, and Another time lets you type any time, for example 3:00pm.
- Under Who, find the client by name, or type a new name and choose New client to add their phone and email.
- Add any private Notes, read the sentence at the bottom to check it, then press the Book button, which carries the client's first name.
Questions
Can I book someone outside my open hours?Yes. Press Another time, or pick a day with nothing open, and type the time. If another appointment is already in that time, OS says You already have this slot allocated and you choose Continue or Cancel.
Will the client get a confirmation? If there is an email on the booking, they get the confirmation and any consent forms by email. The Who section tells you which before you press Book: with no email, nothing is sent.
Can I book by typing or saying a sentence?Yes. Type into the line under the Diary header, for example book Dayle in at 3pm on Monday, or hold the microphone and say it, then press Read. Check what it understood and press Open booking: nothing is booked until you confirm it in the panel.
