Make and run an ad.
Say what the ad is for and OS gives you three ideas, each with the evidence behind it. Nothing spends a penny until you type the words that switch it on.
Steps
- Open Ads and tap "Make an ad" (connect Meta first if the band says "Connect").
- Answer "What is this ad for?", say what it is about in one sentence (or tap "Speak"), set the budget a day, where, and what you have to make it with, then tap "Get three ideas".
- Read each idea's evidence and opening lines, tap "Draw it" if you want OS to design the picture, and tap "Make this ad" on the one you like.
- Work through the five steps, The creative, The words, The people, The money and The review, changing anything you want.
- Tap "Build it, switched off", then type START SPENDING and tap "Turn it on".
Questions
Can OS spend money without me?No. The ad is built switched off, and it only starts when you type START SPENDING and turn it on.
Why will my words not run?Some phrasing breaks Meta's rules on personal attributes and can restrict the ad account. The words are checked as you write, and anything that will not run says so.
How do I pause it or change the budget?On Ads, open the ad and tap "Pause", or "Change" beside the daily budget. A paused ad has "Run it again".
